TFOS Mux Rules on Attending High School
More information found in News & Rules.

The Schedule
Pebble Beach High School meets Monday through Friday, beginning at 8:00AM and going until 3:00PM Mux time (+time). The Mux runs on its own time zone - 3PM CST is actually 10AM Mux time. The reasoning behind this is that it enables Faculty and Students alike to RP in School when they return home from real-life work, school, etc.

While School is in session, PCs are expected to be at the High School. PCs that are not at school are subject to having Parents, Police, the ACO, or Truant Officers come in search for them. Unless a Teacher is present, PCs are always able to RP their own classes anyway they like. Some teachers are nice. Some are bumbling. Some are destructive. Make up a couple of teacher names and stick with them, possibly passing them onto other PCs to keep some consistency. Also, if you walk into a classroom and PCs are emitting a class, that means you're late. Try sneaking in.

If you wish to skip school, sneak out, or whatever may happen, +referee first. Faculty may or may not be able to help you. If they can't, don't try sneaking out. It wouldn't be a lot of fun since you couldn't dodge the Hall Monitors.

Extracurricular Activities (Sports, Clubs, etc) begin at 3:30

PCs are permitted to create their own classes. It is recommended that you have an &CLASSES attribute on yourself to keep a schedule of your classes. Extra RP can be gathered by doing homework for those classes. Work it out with your friends so that you are in the same classes if you'd like. It may also be a wise thing to pop into a class if a Faculty member is holding one since those often have RP as well as episodes tied to them.

Ditching School
PCs attempting to ditch/skip school should contact a Faculty member. Those failing to do so will be caught and punished by the Truant Officers.

Like any High School, Pebble Beach has a variety of activities for students to participate in. Unfortunately, due to the amount of financial resources involved in maintaining facilities for so many Alien races, many sports programs have been cut.

The following chart lists those sports still available for students:

Football (Boys)
Volleyball (Girls)

Track and Field
Baseball (Boys)
Softball (Girls)

Community Schools Fairness in Sports Act After The Alien Arrival Charter Section IV.43 states that Aliens with Sex Changing powers must participate in whatever Sex is their natural or default state. Aliens with No Sex (IT) may choose Boy or Girl activities, but may not switch until the season is complete.

Hall Monitors
The High School employees Hall Monitors to keep a strict eye on all the students. Usually these are geeks or losers or those who wish to suck up to the Faculty. Armed with only a badge and pad of paper, these people have a good tendency to get you into trouble.

Students with a maschochistic streak may apply to become a Hall Monitor. Simply contact a Faculty member.

Dances & the Dance Committee
The High School has at least one dance per semester, not including Homecoming or Prom. Dances are organized by the Dance Committee for that specific dance.

The Dance Committee will meet on the Thursday one week prior to the Dance being held. The only exception is for Homecoming and Prom, both of which will meet three weeks prior to the Dance. All PCs are invited to attend. The first order of business is electing a Chairperson who will not only be able to add the title of 'Chairperson of Dance Committee' to their High School transcript, but who will also be in charge of running the meting.

Homecoming and Prom Committees will have five PCs on each and will be responsible for choosing the canidiates to become King and Queen of the Dance. The Homecoming Committee will also be responsible for coming up with activities for Spirit Week during Homecoming week. PCs wishing to participate should contact a Faculty member.

School Mascot
The Pebble Beach High School mascot is The Rock. It sits in the center of the courtyard and is a symbol of the steadfast determination and hard-headeness that the school's students are known for.

School Colors
The school colors, which appears on banners, letter jackets, pictures, stationary, etc are Grey and Blue.
